Staff

The lecturers and instructors are all highly qualified to teach writing and speech to students in technical disciplines. The Program’s writing tutors all hold advanced degrees in English. All have had extensive teaching experience as well as technical editing experience; some have worked as professional technical writers. All are published authors, two are former Stegner fellows. The speech tutors include Stanford graduates, graduate students, co-terminal students, and undergraduates; some have worked as communications consultants, some are past national champions in debate, others have had extensive public speaking experience, and still others have drama backgrounds.
