Directions to Stanford University Campus

As Bay Area traffic can be very heavy, especially on Highway 101, please allow yourself plenty of time to reach the Stanford campus. In light traffic you can expect travel time by car from either San Jose or San Francisco airports to be approximately 40 minutes.

From Highway 101 South (San Francisco International Airport)

Exit Embarcadero Road West (2nd exit in Palo Alto). Travel 2 miles. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero changes to Galvez Street. Continue on Galvez past the stadium (on your left). Cross Campus Drive. The Arrillaga Alumni Center is the first building on your right.

From Highway 101 North (San Jose International Airport)

Exit Embarcadero Road West. Same as from Highway 101 South (above).

From Highway 280 South (San Francisco International Airport)

Exit Alpine Road. Turn left towards Palo Alto onto Alpine Road and turn right at the first traffic light onto Junipero Serra. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Campus Drive East. Turn left onto Serra Street. Turn right onto Galvez Street. The Arrillaga Alumni Center is on the left.

From Highway 280 North (San Jose International Airport)

Exit Alpine Road. Turn right towards Palo Alto onto Alpine Road, then same as from Highway 280 South (above).

From Highway 880 South (Oakland International Airport)

Exit onto Highway 84 (to Dumbarton Bridge). Exit onto Highway 101 South. Exit onto Embarcadero Road West. Follow same instructions as above to Arrillaga Alumni Center.

Parking on Stanford Campus

Parking near the Arrillaga Alumni Center requires no fee or parking pass after 4:00 PM on Friday and all day Saturday.

There is limited parking on Galvez Street in front of the Center for those who arrive early. Next, there is street and lot parking on Memorial Way adjacent to the Center.

Further away, there is a large parking lot in Galvez Field on the north side of Campus Drive East, west of Galvez. This lot can accommodate all of the automobiles driven by recruiters to the OJF.
