Make History

Partnerships between industry, government, and higher education have helped drive innovation throughout history. They've built much of Stanford Engineering, not to mention Silicon Valley and beyond.

Our faculty value corporate partnerships for the insights they contribute as much as the support and direction they provide. The exchange of ideas definitely goes both ways: Look at any technology-related industry, and you'll find Stanford faculty members on corporate advisory boards and industry panels; look around the campus, and you'll find senior company engineers in residence in our labs.

Joining a program gives corporate affiliates more than access to the latest research developments. Programs also serve as industry roundtables for emerging technologies. We build relationships that link industry to strategic resources in a deep, long-term dialogue. We focus on fundamental innovation, rather than immediate outcomes. The journey will be fascinating, and the destination is often spectacular.
