Event Description
Do you know how to make the most of a meeting with a potential investor?
How do you make a lasting impression at a networking event and then follow up?
Do you struggle to communicate your complex ideas in a simple and compelling way?
On May 13th, Stanford Engineering is pleased to present “Make a Lasting Impression: Strategies for Successfully Presenting Yourself.” Whether you are trying to attract potential investors or would-be partners or employees, you have to make an impression. People don't just buy your product - they buy you. Often you have fewer than 10 minutes to make your point clearly and convincingly. Are you prepared to do that?
Learn how to present yourself and your ideas clearly and consistently. In this highly interactive workshop, you will uncover:
-What the “likeability factor” is and why it matters
-Tips on avoiding the most common networking and etiquette mistakes
-How to inspire confidence through how you look, what you say, and how you say it
This seminar will include interactive exercises designed to help you present yourself and communicate your ideas effectively, succinctly, and professionally.
