If you'd like to meet with a career coach (Ask the Coach) or technical recruiter (Ask the Industry Expert) the fair could be a great chance to do so. We're providing a limited number of one-on-one sessions where you'll have 20 minutes to pick the brain of a career expert who has experience working with engineers on their career development issues. Because spaces are limited for these sessions, arrive early and sign-up on the second floor.  Signs will direct you there.

Whether you are seeking a new position or on the lookout for opportunities, a job search today is primarily web-based. Being able to effectively employ Web 2.0 tools along with traditional methods will facilitate your search. This presentation will give you actionable tactics for:  

1. Building a personal brand with marketing collaterals in addition to your resume
2. Setting up an effective online professional profile in addition to or in lieu of your business website
3. Using online collaboration, and social networking Web sites to stay in touch, develop an online presence and expand your professional visiblity.
4. Making the most of blogging.
5. Ensuring that your name rises to the top in Google searches so that headhunters and companies can easily find you.
6. Successfully managing relationships with headhunters and using online job sites.
